About Nick Lubanski

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, playing football, basketball, and baseball. I went on to play NCAA baseball in college, and I never lost that competitive streak. I graduated from Xavier University in 2019 with degrees in natural sciences and political science. Then I went to law school at the University of Dayton. I was admitted to practice law in Indiana in 2025.

My wife, Cassidy, is my best friend. She is in her fourth year of medical school. We have three cats, Leo, Jasmine, and Siena. We also have two parakeets, Bee and Nia. Bee found us. In 2023, I looked out at our bird feeder and saw a parakeet sitting there. I can’t walk away from an animal that needs help. It took a few days, but she learned to trust me, and I caught her. I tried to find her owner, but no one came forward, so we kept her. Later we brought home Nia so Bee would have a friend.

When I’m not working, I like to watch sports, play golf, go birding, and cook. I also play in a dynasty fantasy football league. I love movies and comedy. And I know a lot of random facts, mostly about animals.
